Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At JustFed, we believe your family's data should stay private. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information—or more accurately, how we don't.

In short: We don't collect, track, sell, or share your personal data. Your baby's information belongs to you and you alone.

How Your Data is Stored

All data you enter into JustFed—feeding logs, sleep times, nappy changes—is stored locally on your iPhone. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to pair with a partner
• We have no access to your data
• Deleting the app removes all local data from your device

Pairing and CloudKit Sync

If you choose to pair with your partner, JustFed uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data between devices. Here's how it works:

• You must explicitly opt in to pairing—it's not automatic
• Only paired events (feeds, sleep, nappies) are synced via CloudKit
• Data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure
• We do not have access to your CloudKit data
• You can unpair at any time to stop syncing
• CloudKit data may persist in iCloud after unpairing—manage this through your iCloud settings

Apple's CloudKit service is subject to Apple's own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Apple's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle cloud data and encryption.

Data Security

Your data on your device is protected by iOS's built-in security features. When using CloudKit for pairing, Apple handles the data transmission and storage—refer to Apple's documentation for details on their security practices.

Your Control

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• You can view all logged entries at any time
• You can unpair from your partner to stop syncing
• Deleting the app removes all local data from your device
• CloudKit data can be managed through your iCloud settings

Children's Privacy

JustFed is designed for parents to track their baby's activities. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data entered is controlled by the parent or guardian using the app.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service we use is Apple's CloudKit for optional data syncing between paired devices. We do not integrate with any analytics services, advertising networks, or other third-party tracking tools.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
